GRIND stands for the Graduate Research, Interdisciplinary Network, and Development (GRIND) Conference which will take place on March 17-18th in the USC. The Faculty and Alumni Book Fair is an opportunity for all Morgan State faculty, staff and alumni to share their work with the Morgan community.
Who: Current and past Morgan State University faculty, staff and students.
What: Bring a few copies of your book, if possible. Ideally, we would appreciate you donating one text to a student from a different discipline than your own.
When: Individuals should be prepared to be present at the fair on the first day of the conference, Friday, March 17th 12:30pm-1:30pm in University Student Center.
To submit, please upload HERE an abstract of your book, a picture of the book, your name, position title, department, and school or college. The abstract should be no more than 200-250 words. Please also include contact information such as email and phone number.
The GRIND is now opening a call for submissions for entrants in our poster competition. The poster competition is for all Morgan State graduate students. This activity gives students the opportunity to converse with peers and faculty about their research. There will be multiple winners for this competition based on the following categories:
- Peer’s Choice,
- Interdisciplinary, and
Winners of this competition will receive awards on Saturday, March 18th 9:30-11:00am in Ballroom A in the University Student Center.
Who: Current Morgan State University graduate students.
What: Prepare a 3ft x 4ft poster.
When: Students should be prepared to compete on the first day of the conference, Friday, March 17th 11:00am-1:00pm in University Student Center Conference Room 210.
To submit, please upload to the Morgan State University Graduate Student Association Blackboard site an abstract of your poster with your name, type of degree pursued (e.g. MPH, MA/MS, etc.), program of study, department, and school or college. The abstract should be no more than 200-250 words. Please also include contact information such as email and phone number.
